Packings
Packings are sheet metal and plastic components which are generally dumped inside the vessel or columns of the refinery and other oil & gas applications. Applications
Corrosion, heat & pressure behaves in similar pattern .For example we take the application of corrosion and let us assume there is a process where there is extreme corrosion taking place in an equipment due to storing or passing some acids through the equipments. These acids are stored in a tank with 30MM wall thickness of the tank and let us assume that the due to storing these acid in that tank the life of the tank is say 5 years.

Quality Wire products offers Packings which are small pieces of metallic components with large surface area and open area and these packings can be dumped inside the storage tanks where by the acid in spite of scrubbing the tank will also starts scrubbing the packings there by the tank life increases by another some years or days.

In some of the refinery applications these packings play a vital role in controlling the excess heat ; corrosion and pressure where by the actual process of refining takes place. Random Packings
Random Packings are small components with large surface area and open area and they are typically made in sheet metal components which are deformed or pressed and changed to different sizes and shapes according to the patterns and tolls designed by us. Structured Packings
Random Packings are small components with large surface area and open area and they are typically made in sheet metal components which are staggered and aligned in different patterns and styles and installed inside the vessel according to the design requirements. These structured packings are made in carbon steel ; stainless steel and other nickel alloys metals and also in Plastics like polypropylene and Ceramic components.

Packing Support Beds
Generally these packings are installed inside the vessel/column on a support grid. These support beds should be designed to achieve larger open area and with typical V wire support grids manufactured by Quality Wire we can offer support grids which can typically achieve 95% open area which will enhance the distillation or separation process in the application.
Hold Down Beds
Generally these packings are dumped installed inside the vessel/column on a support grid and then holded at some place with a typical hold down grid. These hold down beds should be designed to achieve larger open area and with typical V wire hold down grids & perforated hold down grids manufactured by Quality Wire we can offer hold down grids which can typically achieve 95% open area which will enhance the distillation or separation process in the application.

Our Packings & support grids are made with precise die tools. Each lot is identified with batch and lot numbers and materials are supplied with Test certificates. Pre-washing is done to the packings in order to remove the oil stains from the packing before the packings are packed.
